Nuisance Driver - CHARGED

Good evening,

You may have been made aware of an incident on the 20th of August whereby I attempted to stop a vehicle in the Hambleton area. The vehicle subsequently made off and a pursuit ensued. Following the incident the suspect, Wayne Garcia, has been arrested.

Today, we have secured 6 charges (Aggravated vehicle taking, Disqualified Driving, Driving without valid insurance, Failing to stop for police, Dangerous driving, and Criminal damage). Garcia has been remanded in custody to appear before the magistrates tomorrow.

Wyre Task Force will continue to target those who use our roads unlawfully and to commit criminality!
